Dale E. Haney is the Vice President of the Hallsville ISD Board, serving Place 7 since 2020. He is a 1993 Hallsville High School graduate and Marine veteran. Haney worked approximately 20 years as a power plant operator at AEP's Pirkey plant and currently works at AEP's J. Lamar Stall Unit in Shreveport.
He co-owns Extended Family Preschool with his wife, Jessica Young Haney (1999 HHS Salutatorian, UT Tyler graduate, former LISD teacher). He won the Place 7 seat in 2020 over John Craig and filed for reelection in February 2026.
