Kevin Ree Evers is the Vice President of the Harleton ISD Board of Trustees, serving Place 4. He was appointed (not elected) in February 2024 to fill a vacancy and will face voters for the first time in November 2026.
Evers comes from a multi-generational Harleton family. His mother, Rebecca Chambers Evers, died in December 2024; his father, Billy Ray Evers, died in 2010. His siblings include Nan Evers, Renate Jeffcoat, and Craig Evers.
Correction entered April 27, 2026: a prior version of this profile treated information about Bro. Craig Evers, the Oak Grove Baptist Church preacher, as a Kevin Evers conflict item.
